Roofing and rainbows

The roofing on the water side of the house is done – WOOT! Good thing Brian has overcome his fear of heights, this is one tall and steep roof!  Choosing the roof was tough – it’s one thing that you definitely want to get right! After much debate, we finally decided on the Rustic metal shingle from Classic Metal Roofing Systems Canada and the colour is Vermont Slate. It’s a nice greyish-blue that works perfectly with the grey frames around the skylights.

The weather on Monday as beautiful, so I went for a walk along the cliffs to see what the house looks like from a distance. And because I just felt like walking along the cliffs because it was a gorgeous sunny day :-)

There’s our house!

There were some really cool rainbows happening on the waves. Well, technically I guess they’re prisms, but rainbows works better with roofing ;-)

I can’t believe how lucky we are to call this beautiful place home!

    1. I might be just a bit biased, but I think it's a pretty awesome setting too - and the house isn't bad either :-D

  4. The photo in the first image is a pretty sloped roof. It looks like these pictures were taking in Nova Scotia? In any case, if you're in the Mississauga area and are looking for Residential Roofing Mississauga, you can rely on Coverall Roofing!
